Managing users and privileges in MySQL

I can't see a way (in PlusNet's implementation of phpMyAdmin) to manage separate users in my database. How can I grant my php scripts lesser privileges (e.g. SELECT only) than my own 'admin' user?

Move to PAYH instead of using ccgi?

Re: Managing users and privileges in MySQL

So there's really no facility for restricting privileges in the ccgi setup? That seems highly dodgy Sad

What do you expect from a free service? If you want something more sophisticated like a proper hosting service you have to look at PAYH.

Re: Managing users and privileges in MySQL

When I joined up I saw hosting as being "inclusive" rather than "free". I didn't expect fully-featured, but I'm rather surprised that such a bad practice is required.
