Lost my domain :-(

Hi
Im not sure how this came about, its more than likely my folt for not keeping an eye on how my domain was set but now I have lost it ("The web address you entered could not be found"). The address is www.soundsfamiliar.info. It says 'registered and hosted' in my domain names settings. When I realised yesterday that it wasn't working, I set it to automatically renew itself from here on in.
Firstly, is there anything else I should do
Secondly.. how long should it take to work again?
Many thanks
Matt

Re: Lost my domain :-(

If it is hosted by Plusnet has it been pulled for exceeding the size or bandwidth

Re: Lost my domain :-(

It may have exceeded bandwidth, dont really know. If it did, I wasn't notified by plusnet about it.  Undecided

Re: Lost my domain :-(

I don't think it's a problem with PN as you can reach your site using www.username.plus.com except most of the links are not working. The problem is the nameservers are not be returned when doing a lookup for soundsfamiliar.info

Searching for soundsfamiliar.info. NS record at I.ROOT-SERVERS.NET. [192.36.148.17] ...took 3 ms
Searching for soundsfamiliar.info. NS record at d0.info.afilias-nst.org. [199.254.50.1] ...took 9 ms
Nameserver d0.info.afilias-nst.org. reports: No such host soundsfamiliar.info

and I believe the problem is with domain-parking as their website is unreachable

Re: Lost my domain :-(

@purleigh Are you are user of twisted4life DNS services? I used them for a year or so as a MX backup.
Another thought is whether @Vega is on a yearly subscription with their Registrar and this has not been paid so the domain has been parked?

No,  I just used their tool for checking this domain.

I also think the domain being parked is the most likely answer.

Just for info soundsfamiliar.info links towards my cgi space so you're looking at the wrong place (The root of www.username.plus.com is not a used website only subfolders in there are used as websites) 😉
The host is www.freeparking.co.uk. I've quoted the domain name servers as follows
NS1.FORCE9.NET
195.166.128.16
NS2.FORCE9.NET
195.166.128.17
I paid the renewal in June! What an earth is going on here  Undecided
