Consider someone knows my username but not my password and also knows where my site is hosted i.e. knows where customers files are hosted on Plusnet i.e.plusnet.com at htdocs, Are they able to see the filke structure of my site and details of the files i.e. when they were uploaded?

If they know your username then going to www.username.plus.com gets you to your website and whether they can see the full or partial structure depends on how you have set it up in your index file
If the index file includes links to the other folders then they can get to them otherwise they need to know the names of the sub folders to access them
However it is easily possible to start guessing - if you guess wrong you get
Not found - 404
URL requested (/files) not found
This was by going to your website and trying www.username.plus.com/files
If you want to avoid this risk you will either have to use an extremely obscure folder name or password protect it
