Incorrect Geo Location

Sites I visit think I'm based in the USA. I've tried using a UK DNS service but the Geo location issue remains. The DNS server people have said that the issue is with my ISP i.e. Plusnet. How can I resolve this please?

Re: Incorrect Geo Location

What is your 'public IP', as reported by your router?

Also, refer to this post - https://community.plus.net/t5/Everything-else/Are-you-unable-to-access-a-specific-web-page/m-p/15289...

Re: Incorrect Geo Location

@mapes12 I suggest you reply to the post I linked - so far as I know, that range has been 'in the UK' for a while.

Re: Incorrect Geo Location

If you want a temporary work around then download a free VPN extension for your browser. Windscribe do versions for Chrome and Firefox. This can be switched on or off in the browser and will give you 2GB of free use or 10GB if you give them your email address. Having installed this you can select the VPN end country as UK and your problem will be solved. See https://windscribe.com/vpn-for-chrome for Chrome version.
