As my site is not hosted by PN please feel free to move this to a better thread, if it is not deemed to be posted here
Apparently the service is closing
Yet Ifind no mention on their website

Does anyone know of an alternative free site that is user friendly to use
Edit
I have now found the info on their site
[quote= http://immediatenet.com/thumbnail_api.html]Thumbnail API is closing down soon!
August 2014:
The service provider has announced that "The server appears to have been inappropriately using system resources". Thus, it seems like this service will be closed soon. The "Service is closing soon" advertisement should be in place of all new thumbnail requests, which looks like:

Cheers Midnight
However the downside of them is they do not Generate Live Website Thumbnails of the linked page, & one would have to keep updating manually, to keep it current
Is there an alternative way I can still do the same as opposed to taking a screenshot / upload to the images folder, then have to redo when their homepage changes.
Is there an open source code that I could replicate & use to my advantage ?

I have come accross
http://webthumbnail.org/
&
https://www.thumbalizr.com/
However during tests, they both take too long, in comparison to immediatenet.com
