I can't login to my plusnet webspace

I am using dreamweaver ftp client but cannot log on to my webspace. It reports 530 login incorrect
Using the details on the page http://www.plus.net/support/hosting/webspace/webspace_details.shtml, I have tried username, username@plusdsl.net and username@plus.net
I know my password is 9 characters, I chose it as this. On the confirm password screen it is confirmed as being 9 characters and as I expect it to be. But on the page https://portal.plus.net/my.html?s=0&action=refresh_browser my passwrod is displayed as 8 characters.
Is there somewhere I can reset my ftp password or any other solution? What am I missing?

Leave the @... off! It's just the bare username that you enter when you log in to https://portal.plus.net/index_portal.html?home=login
(The @plusdsl.net is only used in your router settings by the BT Wholesale network to connect you to Plusnet)

You don't have any webspace which would explain why you can't log in. We stopped offering webspace with new residential accounts some years back.

I have registered a domain and wish to host it on my plusnet account. Is this possible?

OK I have found the answer to my prev question. No webspace for me.

Yeah, the domain hosting would be fine for email, but not so good for hosting unless you rely on A/CNAME records to host it somewhere else that facilitates that sort of thing.
