How often is webspace updated

I appreciate there have been a few problems over the last few days but the amount of webspace allowance used has not changed despite deleting files. My internet package allows me 250MB of webspace. How long should it take to see changes come into effect.

The usage figure is not real-time, it is update once a day, normally in the early hours.

Over the last week I have been deleting various image files from my webspace but the usage figure has not changed one KB, I am still showing the same usage as when I started. One of the reasons I am deleting is that I am a little over allowance and I am trying to bring it below. I should add that mine is free webspace that comes with the package, don't know if this makes any difference?

Where are you deleting from... your homepages webspace or ccgi webspace?
The usage figure only applies to the homepages webspace. There is no figure for ccgi.
