How can I access newsgroups?

I registered for this forum because I cannot access ANY newgroups or usenet services via PN can anyone point me in the right direction... I raised a ticket with PN but the have closed it down saying to contact this forum???  Best regards... Richard.

The vast majority of Plusnet have never heard of Usenet.

I assume you have a newsreader program?

Plusnet provide a basic news server at usenet.plus.net - but its only got text-only newsgroups (and spam).

You would need to subscribe to a paid server if you want binary newsgroups.
