How Weird..

Just resurrected an old PC and it seems my e-mail on my personal domain is on there with an old hosting provider and an account is still setup
i didn't know it was possible for a domain to point to 2 servers at the same time, and be active.
it's got me abit concerned.

Are you sure the address of the server is using the domain name and not the IP address?

hi Phil,
Yes the e-mail on thisd old pc was setup to my servage account - and when i downloaded e-mail it was then i realised i had e-mails going back years that i dont even remember , so i checked the server settings
I put in my server which ive been using for a few years and got the e-mail from today, of which i had sent myself a few to put my stuff across
ive since deleted the old details and the account from servage. i checked the DNS and the domain has, since september 2005 been pointing to my new hosting provider
weird indeed.
