It appears to be an intermittent failure (always the hardest to fix). Sometimes the hit counter is displayed, but at other times just the "missing graphic" symbol appears. Right clicking on that symbol and selecting "reload image" makes the counter appear, although often requiring two or three attempts. To me, these symptoms suggest a timing error. Has anyone else seen such behaviour?
