Help with DNS Issues?

Ive just transferred one my domains from Plusnet to Plesk and thought id try the DNS settings myself... I need to learn sometime whats involved.
Ive mimiced another domain hosted, but used the DNS settings given to me on my ticket.
My DNS settings are as follows:

when pining streetdivers.co.uk it enters the pinged URL twice.
Can anyone spot the obvious mistake?  Embarrassed

Re: Help with DNS Issues?

Hi
I have now responded to your query, the delay was caused due to the ticket needing to be passed to the PAYH department.
If you need to raise further tickets to ourselves, then please raise a ticket by going to:
http://help.plus.net > Sales & Orders > Plusnet Hosting
Hope that helps

Re: Help with DNS Issues?

im lost when it comes to DNS settings, but I think its because I may have entered the DNS settings both in the F9 control panel and Plesk?
Im also told theres a full stop missing after the domain name (which must be at the F9 end, since all the domains pictured above have them in?)
Either way, thanks Kev.

Re: Help with DNS Issues?

Hi
The domain had been pointed to the wrong IP address and the cname records were missing the full stops.

Re: Help with DNS Issues?

Kev I have the same problem, in f9 control panel for Domains I followed the instructions in the tutorial "Pointing multiple domains to your PAYH webspace" at http://users.plus.net/tutorials/id/69 to the letter but the Domain http://dhea.org.uk keeps on slipping to http://www.dhea.org.uk ; Sad

Re: Help with DNS Issues?

Hi
If you give that 6 hours, that should fix it

Re: Help with DNS Issues?

Kev you went and pointed my main Domain to http://dyslexia.plushost.co.uk I only wanted http://dhea.org.uk to point to plushost only, I do NOT want http://www.dhea.org.uk pointed at plushost, now I have to wait up to 24 hr for the DNS servers to catch up, for my main website to be available to the public.  Angry
