I submitted a support ticket and they direceted me here

Which server is your website on, the standard homepage (www.etc), ccgi or PAYH?

Re: Help seting up a contact form with PlusNet

C:\Documents and Settings\John>nslookup www.blowabbott.com ns1.plus.net
Server:  ns1.plus.net
Address:  212.159.11.150
Name:    homepages.plus.net
Addresses:  212.159.8.91, 212.159.9.91
Aliases:  www.blowabbott.com

Homepages is usually for static pages only - does anyone know about running flash on there? Looking at some of the entries in the config file I'm not sure if this is possible on that server.

Re: Help seting up a contact form with PlusNet

Flash content is static and Homepages is fine for that, but it looks like this template requires either PHP or ASP and Homepages won't do either. Plusnet's alternative offerings for PHP are ccgi and PAYH. CCGI looks a bit doomed at the moment (big shame) and I couldn't recommend paying for PAYH. There is a rather limited contact form script on Homepages, but it might be difficult to integrate into such a flash site.

Re: Help seting up a contact form with PlusNet

Hmm... can blowabbott simply sign up to a no-charge change of his/her account to preview PAYH (a transition which was still available as at 25th Feb - re Mand Becketts' summary); or are the overall constraints (residential accounts  with 250MB Storage, 1.5G data transfer p.m. 1 x database,  or business accounts with 500MB Storage, 3G data transfer p.m., 1 x database) too constraining - or has the offer subsequently been withdrawn?
From blowabbotts description, the template will either generate code which is then simply FTP'd to PAYH webspace, or merely sets parameters to pass to some code which needs to be provided by the user. If the latter one would expect documention on the <form> GET or POST call, so if none is evident, I would plump for the former. Easy to test!

Re: Help seting up a contact form with PlusNet

I was assuming from Kev's last latest post (http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,75238.0.html) that the drawbridge was up on the trial and any new Plesk accounts would be paid. If I misunderstood, apologies.
