Help needed in replacing my web site

I have a web site on PlusNet which I built with MS Frontpage.  Frontpage extensions are enabled.
I have now built a new web site using SiteSpinner and want to upload this to PlusNet and replace the old one.  Can someone advise me whether I need to remove the old Frontpage files before I upload the new ones, and if so, how do I do this.
Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Re: Help needed in replacing my web site

It's not absolutely essential to remove the old site.  When you upload the new site any files of the same name will be overwritten (if permissions allow).  It's good practice though to keep your webspace tidy as you only have 250mb of it !
Use something like SmartFTP (available free for personal use)  from http://www.smartftp.com to access your webspace

Re: Help needed in replacing my web site

Frontpage still uses your www webspace for the files, just that FP requests go via the FP configured web server rather than the homepages web server. You still have to publish via FP to update the site, but you can just remove/move the files via ftp to ftp.plus.net.
