Hi,
This morning I noticed an IP address on my list of log ins which is based in Birmingham. I am in norfolk. I have plusnet wifi and 4g. Could this be that I have been hacked and someone has logged into my gmail? Or could it be plusnet? I searched the IP address and it says EE (who I believe include plusnet) own the ip?
There is no evidence on the google account that a different device has logged in. 109.249.181.126 is the ip. I have changed my google password in case I have been hacked.

IP location isn't tied to your location - mine says I'm about 100 miles from where I actually am.
Also gmail would send an alert to your device / back up email notifying of a new / suspicious login.
I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Yep as @dvorak said I wouldn't rely on location, unless something had happened to your account very far away from where you weren't at, you didn't do anything at the time and you were getting login notifications when you know you weren't at a computer at the time. I am thinking of if you were asleep.
That's what I do anyway.
