Freenetname customer cannot login to ftp with correct details...

I am a freenetname customer and ive been trying to access my website (www.edzup.co.uk) to no avail using FileZilla and other ftp programs, I know its the correct details as I checked I also used the correct username and password. Is there a problem with the authentication system for the freenetname ftp server?

FTP sites usually start with URL's like ftp.somename

WWW sites usually start with URL's like www.somename

ftp.plus.net is a ftp site (it requires a password).

However,.......

ftp www.edzup.co.uk
Connected to www.users.freenetname.co.uk.
220 ProFTPD Server [freenetname.co.uk]
Name (www.edzup.co.uk:jeremy😞
331 Password required for jeremy
Password:
530 Login incorrect.
Login failed.
Remote system type is UNIX.
Using binary mode to transfer files.
ftp> quit
221 Goodbye.

I do understand that but ftp://www.edzup.co.uk doesnt work either. Nor does any of the ftp systems they have on the madasafish website.

Once again i get:
USER edzup@freenetname.co.uk
331 Password required for edzup@freenetname.co.uk
PASS ...
530 Login incorrect.

Even when using the correct username AND password I can login to webmail and my mail app using the username and password BUT cannot access my Ftp webspace.

Note that both user and password must be correct.

Otherwise you need to make a very long phone call.

still doesnt work

Its as if the website is there but the FTP server has been removed, as i said i can get emails and login to webmail BUT cannot access the ftp server for www.edzup.co.uk.

I have access to other ftp websites just not this one.

Sorted it the ftp wasnt www.edzup.co.uk it was www.users.freenetname.co.uk it always used to be www.edzup.co.uk as this was my actual domain that I was allotted. Also the username wasnt the website with :edzup etc it was my freenetname login details as it always was.
