Failed to connect to updraftplus.com port 443: Connection timed out

Hi 

I'm trying to install updraftplus to my WordPress website hosted on my PN CCGI webspace but it's coming up with this error when I try to login to my updraftplus account via the plugin..

Failed to connect to updraftplus.com port 443: Connection timed out.

I've been told this might be because PNs firewall might be blocking it. Is this possibly the problem?

I've had a reply from updraftplus.com (below). Can this be looked in to on the hosting servers?

Hi Matthew,

cURL error 7 is a 'failed to connect' error. The error indicates that the network that UpdraftPlus is attempting to connect to is unreachable. This shows that the connection isn't being blocked, but is failing to reach the UpdraftPlus.com servers.

Can you try to check with your host please?

I suspect the problem is that our CCGI hosting is not configured to support https (SSL/TLS).
