Hi
I am having trouble getting my FTP client (Core FTP LE) to connect to my CGI space.
Are there any known issues at present? My settings are below (less the password).
Control Panel URL: https://hosting.plus.net
Control Panel Username: ccgi.crazeeworld.plus.com
Control Panel Password:
FTP Server address: ccgi.crazeeworld.plus.com
If I enter hostname with either https://hosting.plus.net OR ccgi.crazeeworld.plus.com
and use the user name ccgi.crazeeworld.plus.com or just crazeeworld
with a master password reset done, I still can't get in with the FTP client.
The portal web page lets me in, but I can only transfer one file up at a time which is a bit pathetic.
Unless there is a way around that?
Thanks in advance.
Ian

No known issues Ian, and my account seems to be working OK. Do you have any special characters in the FTP password? If so, try using just numbers/alphanumerics and see if it helps.

Did you solve this problem crazeeworld? I am having the same issues.
Have set a master password in the FTP manager page
using ccgi.<username>.plus.com for server name
same for username
and set master password.
FTP client (CuteFTP) wont connect.
Thanks, Steve

Sorry, this doesn't directly help you but FTP using FileZilla works fine for me. FileZilla draws attention to TLS not being supported but then connects without it.
Is CuteFTP trying to connect securely (which will fail) but not falling back to standard FTP?
Have you tried an alternative client (eg FileZilla)?

Thanks for the help with Filezilla. That worked.
I used ccgi.crazeeworld.plus.com for server address and for user name, plus entered the master password.
