FTP login failing

I've had Plusnet boradband for over a year now but only recently decided to start using the web space.  However, I can't log in to the FTP site to upload files.  I'm connecting to FTP over a Plusnet broadband connection, using the same user name and password as I do to get into the members' centre, but I get '530 Login incorrect' every time.
Is there something I'm supposed to do to get this to work?

Try: ftp://username:password@ftp.plus.net/htdocs/ with Internet Explorer v6 not you must keep " : "

Altitude747: I have had a quick look over this and it looks like there is an issue with the login to the ftp server. So that we can have a good look at this for you can you raise a question on your account using the help assistant on the member center?

Just come back to this and lo and behold, it's working now!  I hadn't yet raised a question on my account, but someone must have tweaked something behind the scenes -- thanks, whoever you are.
