FTP login error 530

I appear to have Standard Webspace, but have never used it til now. All attempts to access it via FileZilla meet with the same response - error 530. I'm certain I'm entering my username & password correctly. Previous posts on this subject seem to suggest this is something Plusnet personnel can fix. Any one out there?

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
