FTP download links

Peoples, I needs 'elp.
I have a ~50mb file I want to send to someone.  Too big to email obviously so I planned to upload it to my web space and send him a link so he can download it.  Problem.  I would need to also send him my username and password for this to work, which I dont want to do of course.  Is there a workaround?

If you Upload your file to into the htdocs folder in your WEB space then it will be available for download from that website. All you will need to send him is the address of your webspace and the name of the file.
So, if the file was called bigfile.zip and you upload it to the htdocs folder
then send him the link that looks like this: http://www.USERNAME.plus.com/bigfile.zip
When he clicks on the link it will allow him to download it.

Vip3r, you're a star - and Im a dork.  The link I was trying to use was ftp.username.plus.net/filenmame.  Doh!
