I have a domain that I have owned for the last number of years.
Originally it was hosted on plusnet, but then I moved the files etc over to another company.
When I look in My Account details (under the Domains section) it says:
Domain Name babybmw.net
Status Registered and Hosted
And it gives the option of Configure or Transfer Out
Under Configure, there are no references at all to the current company that I use.
If I do a WHOIS of the domain, it brings the following back:
Registrar: 1 & 1 INTERNET AG
Whois Server: whois.schlund.info
Referral URL:
http://registrar.schlund.info Expiration Date: 2010-01-07
Creation Date: 2004-01-07
Last Update Date: 2008-09-08
Name Servers:

My question is.....what happens if I hit "Transfer Out"??????
The reason I am questioning this is that I am considering leaving Plus Net and am concerned that if I do, the domain wont work any longer
