I have a domain chanchala.co.uk that is hosted via plusnet. Earlier today I tried to update the DNS settings in the plusnet portal to point to another hosting provider (App Engine) by selecting "Other: I wish to specify DNS records for hosts under this domain" and configuring a CNAME for www and a number of A records for the bare domain.
This resulted in all DNS queries related to the domain are failing, including for other CNAMEs that had previously worked and MX. I have now tried to restore the configuration back to what to its original state, but that has not fixed the problem and several hours later nothing is resolving. My site is down and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it.
