Hello,
My internal modem seems to be causing the computer to freeze. I use it upload files to my website which I have with free-online. How can I fix this and access my web site files again? Will I need a new modem? Can I access my files another way?
Cheers

Hi there,
As the webspace is hosted on a free dial account it can only be accessed via a Plusnet (or force9/free-online) connection. If you have broadband with us that'll work fine, if not however then it will have to be via dial up - and as your modem seems to be broken it may well mean buying a new one. It might be worth uninstalling it from your system, removing the drivers and then reinstalling the modem first though as that can often fix errors such as this.
Hope that helps,
