Re: DNS settings for Force 9 cgi server

Thanks, again, for your help.  I have tried setting /public to 755 (index.htm was already set at 644) but still no joy.  I have also uploaded a whole new directory with its own index.htm file but still get the same result.
What I still find perplexing is that I have ftp access but not http.  My suspicion is that there is a wrong permission setting higher up the directory structure of the server.
It seems as though I have no option by to wait for PlusNet support to get around to looking at the problem.

Re: DNS settings for Force 9 cgi server

Thanks for checking.  I think all is under control now...or at least heading that way.
Just one more quick question:  On the ccgi control panel, does it make any difference which domain name is selected to be managed - or are they all just aliases for the same files?
Thanks for your help

Re: DNS settings for Force 9 cgi server

It doesn't matter from a file perspective but other apps like the FTP Manager/SQL Manager have their own instances for each domain which can get confusing. My advice would be to stick to same domain name when using it.
