DNS Issue: Unable to resolve nip.io addresses

It appears that the PlusNet DNS Servers do not resolve nip.io addresses.

I am doing some unit testing on my application and I need to resolve "host.10.9.8.7.nip.io", but it fails...

C:\>nslookup host.10.9.8.7.nip.io
Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.1.254

*** No internal type for both IPv4 and IPv6 Addresses (A+AAAA) records available for host.10.9.8.7.nip.io.

Google DNS Servers do resolve them...

C:\>nslookup
Default Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.1.254

> server 8.8.8.8
Default Server: dns.google
Address: 8.8.8.8

> host.10.9.8.7.nip.io
Server: dns.google
Address: 8.8.8.8

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: host.10.9.8.7.nip.io
Address: 10.9.8.7

I can update my workstation to use Google DNS Servers (as a workaround), but I would to see this resolved.

At a guess it is probably more down to design than anything that needs to be resolved.  As the nip.io site states, it won't work with "DNS rebinding protection which may result in failure to resolve local and private IP addresses"
