Creating a website

About 7 or 8 years ago I created my website on Plusnet.using Frontpage  I have not done anything with it for about 5 years. Apparently microsoft do not support the software anymore and neither do Plusnet.I found the software very easy to use for creating the website and for publishing it on the web. Can anyone recomend some similar software for me to use to create another website. Thanks

If you're happy with FP, then you can still use it.

Re: Creating a website

Website I used quite often when searching for alternatives is www.alternativeto.net
http://alternativeto.net/software/microsoft-office---frontpage/?
I think this is the replacement for FrontPage: http://www.microsoft.com/expression/products/StudioWebPro_Overview.aspx
They've made it more like Dreamweaver so might be more complex to use.

Re: Creating a website

The issue with Frontpage is the extensions, which not all ISPs support. Don't use the extensions and it should be OK. Kompozer is a reasonable free alternative.

Re: Creating a website

If you want to stick with MS - I've got on very well with Microsoft Web Expression. It's far more advanced than FP - but I reckon its reasonably priced considering. You can download a fully working demo from them.
