I'm looking for a cheap option to transfer my domain name out of Plusnet into another provider. It's mainly for email access, but I've also got a very basic static wordpress website as well that would need to be transferred. Any recommendations for a very cost effective provider in the UK?
HI, I've been using Ecohosting for a while now for email on one of my domains. They're good value and support ( via ticket ) is very quick. Even the very basic hosting includes up to 10 mail accounts.
Beware though, that domain transfer to/from PlusNet is largely a manual process so expect some downtime , particularly in the current circumstances.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
I use EUK Host, and have done for a few years now. £36pa and I get my mail and several domains hosted for that. If I have ever had problems, online support have fixed it, usually within an hour or 2.
