Re: Changing Static IP

I need the same thing. I want to change my ip address, but I can't.

There is a "Configure Static IP" link/button - that doesn't work.

Re: Changing Static IP

In your account under add ons select delete static IP. Once deleted you can request a new one which will cost £5 (one off fee). The new IP should be working within minutes.

😮NOTE TO ALL> When you use a plusnet static IP they will add your username the the IP address. I think this is a massive breach of privacy!! And they do not tell you that they have done it. It's fine if your account name is ABC123 but a lot of users may use there real name or age within the account name. So if you have a static IP from plusnet you can be very accurately be personalised when searching on the internet. If you ask Plusnet they will anonymise the IP address with the word plus.com at the end rather than your name.

Re: Changing Static IP

Forgot to say.... If you want to check it visit this website whatismyipaddress.com/ip/

and enter your plusnet static IP address at the end of the the last trailing /

You will then see your plusnet username which can be traced back to your account here. Try IT
