Can't access "online chat" because of "functional cookies" but can't change cookie settings

Was trying to report a fault with the broadband and tried to access the chat facility but was presented with:
If you follow the "enable functional cookies" hyperlink, it just takes you back to
"https://www.plus.net/home-broadband/contact/residential/customer-services/#"
Eventually, I found the "cookie policy" link (https://www.plus.net/help/legal/cookie-policy/) at the bottom of the page which takes me to ...
..but if I click on the "Manage Cookie Settings Page" link (https://www.plus.net/help/legal/cookie-policy/#) it leaves me on the same page.
This is with Firefox 85.0.1 (64-bit).
Anyone have any ideas?
I have also tried deleting all "www.plus.net" cookies from the browser using the "privacy & security" settings, marked the page as "trusted", but it made no difference.
Fixed! Go to the fix.
