This is in line with my last question, but feel this mite be a easyer way to get this issue sorted with the above title. Im not a avid website programer so il keep this as simple as I can.
Website = htdocs.
php script = CGI server.
I have a email form setup on my web page, flash based. Its using a php script located on my CGI server.
When I run this page from my computer it works, a email is sent out. When I run this page from my webspace i.e htdocs, it fails to send a email out.
Question is why, and can a php script be executed from my htdocs thats linked to my CGI server, or do I have to transfer my whole website from htdocs onto my CGI server space, as when the site is directly with php file it works?
Thanks for any info, and for the replies in the other related thread.

I think it's something to do with the flash (about which I know nothing) because I have standard pages on homepages (htdocs) which call a formmail script on ccgi without any problems.

Hello.
This was all to do with having a contact form on my flash web site. The url works because when runing the site from my pc all worked, it was not untill I was running it from my webspace htdocs in which the url was targeted to the cgi webspace when it fails to work.
Iv now ditched this method and downloaded coffe cup form builder, this works fine, and excepts links between the general webspace to the cgi space where the php file is located.
Thanks for all your help.
