I was wondering why PHP $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']; is starting to return "unknown" a lot recently.
Do you know if there are any plans to fix this issue?

Being realistic I can't imagine supporting IPV6 on ccgi is high on Plusnet's work stack at the moment.
