Blog linking with web site

Hi
My web site is hosted by PlusNet  (www.goodviews.co.uk).
I want to start a blog to add richness and content for the web site. (walking stories, skiing stories  etc.)
If I start off on something like WordPress will I be able to link to the website later~?
OR ---any other suggestions.?

To do a blog you need a server supporting PHP and MySQL. Unfortunately your site is on Homepages, which doesn't provide those tools.
Does your account include use of ccgi (which does support PHP)? Otherwise you'd be looking at third party hosting.

I have checked the settings. All it says is 'Standard Website' with instructions about ftp.

There would be another icon labelled "Plusnet Hosting (CGI)" if you had it. So looks like you'd be looking towards external hosting to support your ideas.

But remember also that you may be able to successfully embed a Wordpress site running elsewhere within a page on your existing PN website (i.e. keeping the existing look & fee and menus) simply by using an <iframe>
