HI all
I'm planning to set up a photo album on my website. Does anyone have any recommendations of ones that are trouble-free and can be hosted here without (too much) hassle?
Cheers

depend on
a)how may photos you have
b)do you want other people to have access
it is possible on the existing free included space, not sure if this is going to change or not.
A simple HTML version can be had via the free IrFan View program
or see Shutters existing display http://www.nemosphotography.co.uk/

Thanks for the linky Pierre.
Just been pointed here on my CSS help query.
Jalbum is indeed the program I used to make my website..... It is TOTALLY FREE. and there are 200 different "skins" and designs you can use all FREE.... if you want you can host it on Jalbum website for FREE also...There is a forum and also a very good help service there too.....
Mine is hosted by Plusnet, but I registered it elsewhere, then migrated it to PN...

You could, of course, use an on-line photo sharing site such as Flickr and link to it from your website.
My personal preference is to use Flickr's API so that it integrates seamlessly with my site, but that's a coding project that will have to wait.

Depends a bit on how you want to use the gallery.
One of my sites has a full-blown (free) Coppermine gallery but also has some pages for specific topics with embedded mini-galleries showing the 'best of..' photos for that topic and referring to the main Coppermine gallery which contains all photos.
I use (very cheap) Coffeecup photo gallery for my mini-galleries; Coffeecup creates Flash .swf files which can be embedded anywhere. I also use a Coffeecup gallery on the home page as an alternative to photos which change (rotate) on each access.
