Here's me thinking my phone was getting too old.
Similar situation for me. Sound has been out of sync for several weeks. However, it may just be certain channels.
Watching Bayern Munich earlier was fine. Liverpool / Rangers was a no no - now watching on my PC screen.

Yes, same here, noticed the out of sync audio on Moto GP at the weekend but thought it was just the feed from Thailand that was faulty.
But it seems to be affecting all BT Sport output just now. It's fine on the phone app but casting to Chromecast is a no no.
So, BTSport 4 (Celtic) is in sync when casting to TV. We'll see what the 8pm kick offs produce.
Brian
Not for me. Channels 1, 2, 3 & 4 are all in sync tonight using Chromecast.
Wouldn't you just know it.

This problem has bugged me for months - presently watching England - New Zealand cricket with the sound 4/5 seconds behind, maybe more. Does anyone have a solution? It happens when casting only.
The problem occurs on and off for me. Sometimes the studio sync is fine but when they go live it's not.
My current solution is to stop the Cast, close the Sports App and wait 5 seconds. Then re-start. This seems to work (for me anyway).

Thanks for the response. Yesterday, it was so bad that I closed & restarted everything, even the router. To my surprise it fixed the problem. My router is the Plusnet Hub 2 which doesn't allow you to isolate the 2.4ghz & 5ghz networks, so I wonder if the Chromecast was on one frequency & the phone on another, but with no practical way of making them the same. Anyway, fixed for the moment!
