Plusnet does not currently support expanding beyond the basic 250mb space / bandwidth limit.
My question then is does anyone have any recomendations for budget Web Hosting providers I could use to shift my forum / web site to?
Having spent the last week looking online I seem to hit a minefield of mis-information and lack of independent review.
Any Help would be appreciated, and my apologies if this is posted in the wrong section.
Thanks.

also:
www.streamline.net
Web hosting from £13.99 per annum (subject to 2 year contract), but would recommend moving up to their next package.

I've hosted a forum with http://www.dream-hosting.co.uk/ for a couple of years using the £9.99 pa package.
No major problems and they respond to tickets.

Is there any news on Plus Net moving into web hosting which I think was mentioned in another thread. I think its a shame that PN don't incorporate a higher web space allowance in Option 4. You can only get 500mb of space if you upgrade to a Business account but that is not really suitable for home use because it is restrictive in some uses.

Servage is very slow and they offer stupid limits to entice people onto a slow service
I avoid free services as to be honest there is no comeback if something happens to your site. where as with paid hosting they have to offer a certain uptime guarantee
I have idle accounts on Servage and also on a server in Redbus so if anyone wants some free hosting PM me i'd be happy to sort some out.
i don't use them much.

I like these people : http://www.openhosting.co.uk ; Used them for my sites from about 2003 before we needed a dedicated server and relocated the sites to the US where they were cheaper.
After a couple of years in the US, I've just brought them back to an OH colocated server. 🙂
Service and support is fantastic. I like the 'personal touch' they give.
