A little help please

Quite a simple question really, I would like to install an smf forum on my space, but a little stuck about the settings for the database.
where it says  path  you normally get away with  "localhost"  just wonder if that was the same using  the dbs on plusnet ?
sorry if it is so simple.
but any ideas appeciated greatly

Firstly, ensure you have activated MySQL:
https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=mywebsite&?membermenu=websitesettings and choose MySQL
You should get a confirmation email with your details.
The email will give you the hostname, username, dbname and password that you need to use.  They will be something like:
hostname:  rumpus or humbug
username: pn_username
dbname:  pn_username
password: a7f89e09b8ca9
If you don't get an email within 4 hours of activating MySQL, raise a ticket asking for your details.
