OK - I submitted a support request on Tuesday 13 September - still nothing.
What is wrong Plusnet? - you used to be so quick and good! My (supposedly) super fast broadband is worse than dial up used to be, I've waited 8 days for a reply about my website on your CCGI server - I wanted to get this live last week for a meeting last Thursday! - once upon a time I recommended you to friends, now I'd be embarrassed to!
What happened to that great support I experienced when I joined you about 8 years ago.
To top it all I have the worst internet in the street!

Hi as far as I'm aware plusnet support don't have email support
How was the support request raised?

Via the member centre - it had a link to email a support question.
I've sent questions in before and had replies!
thanks for your reply - I'm fuming and almost had it with plusnet - who were so good when I joined them years ago!

I still haven't had a reply. I spoke via chat (after a 30 minute wait) on Friday. They organised for someone to phone me at 10am yesterday - no call!
I have posted my question elsewhere in the forum, it's now been nearly two weeks and also now I don't have a live website.
This is what I need help with:
pointing domain (registered by plusnet) to ccgi server help
Hi
I have a wordpress website sitting on the ccgi server.
My domain.co.uk is registered with plusnet, however, I did have it pointed to a wix website via dns.
I now want it to point to my wordpress site at ccgi.myname.plus.com.
I changed the dns records:
a record is now pointing to:
91.136.8.9 |
cname record is now pointing to:
ccgi.plus.net. |
I've changed the url to mydomain.co.uk in the wordpress database.
Now I'm getting a Not Authorized to View This Page [CFN #0004] error.
Can anyone help please? I spent an hour on chat this morning and they couldn't help me at all - so I decided to just go ahead with the above.
I've taken all the links to the domain off wix.
How much longer do I need to wait for an answer!!!

At this point I think your options are somewhat limited and I think the only way to move forward with this is to raise a formal complaint here
