uploading websites in plain speaking language 4 FP user

Reading the postings leads me to think many of us are having trouble uploading using Front Page - myself included.
What I would like is a guide for the simple minded - thats me. Cry
I think i am managing to upload my site to www.danum-photos.co.uk but by an inconventional method. I am dragging the files across in the publish windows.
When I click of synchronise i get error 550 index.htm permission denied.
When I click local to remote and try to transfer, the files go into the root directory - (I have set up 3 folders for 3 websites).
I am using Front Page 2003.
I really need to know the addresses of the 3 website folders which are all sitting in my htdocs space on my Front Page enabled space.
Confused? I am!
