Just as a matter of interest what can you do on your Windows machine that I cannot do on my "Mac" other than download and test various types of anti-virus and firewall software? :-)

OS X and windows environment

naeem786,
I am against this PC / Mac kind of war which has been going on for too long.
It is like trying to find a common ground between true-believers from the two extremes...

The best is too make a opinion on your own.

Here are more websites to get a closer look :
- http://www.macwindows.com/ : it gives practical information for users of cross-platform products, and issues regarding Mac / Windows integration.
- http://developer.apple.com/ue/switch/windows.html : A guide to key user experience differences between Micorsoft Windows and Mac OS X
- http://developer.apple.com/ : Apple Developper Connection : A complete website where you will get technical info on the OS structure, and tons of usefull pdf covering topics liike : things to know to port software from Unix to Windows environment and vice versa.

I am both Windows and OS X user. Personally, I have a preference for Mac environment : it is not only a question of "cosmetic" : there is less click to get you through, the dialogs and interfaces are much more thought after,
Command-line passionate users can access and compile loads of Open Source software with ease on your Mac without becoming an outlaw.
ANd at last, I have not had any virus of any kind while browsing the web with a mac. (that is why on this sunday afternoon I am browsing the Plus net forum searching for some spyware protection software for my Dell laptop).

Do not hesitate to contact me for more question.
