help with router please?

ok i have a Cisco 873 router and i am trying to play age of empires 2 across the web with it, however:

http://www.u.arizona.edu/~trw/games/ports.htm

shows that a range of ports must be opened, and at current all i can do is open single ports :

ip nat inside source static tcp 10.10.10.3 2300 interface Dialer1 2300
ip nat inside source static udp 10.10.10.3 2300 interface Dialer1 2300
ip nat inside source static tcp 10.10.10.3 47624 interface Dialer1 47624
ip nat inside source static udp 10.10.10.3 47624 interface Dialer1 47624
ip classless

as you can see that is not a range of ports

can any one tell me how to set up this router so that it reads more like
ip nat inside source static tcp 10.10.10.3 2300 2400 interface Dialer1 2300 2400
ip nat inside source static udp 10.10.10.3 2300 2400 interface Dialer1 2300 2400
ip nat inside source static tcp 10.10.10.3 47624 interface Dialer1 47624
ip nat inside source static udp 10.10.10.3 47624 interface Dialer1 47624

Many thanks

Andy

if the routers firewall doesn't support port ranges then you can't. You will have to put one PC in DMZ [outside the protection of the Nat firewall]and use a software firewall on that.

So check if the router can allow ranges in its Firewall Port rules/Virtual Servers

You only need ports open if the connection is started from outside. If you start the connection and open the port then the firewall knows to let the port recieve a reply.

If you get a tc/ip viewer like the free one from http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/utilities.shtml

if you run the game you can see what ports you are opening you can then see if you need to open any more. Its possable you only have to open a few
