firewall on network

I use a static i.p address with norton as my firewall. I run a network with my laptop using the internet via connection sharing. Do I have to use a firewall on the second computer or is it secured because all packets are scanned on the first pc. Cheesy

Officialy, all packets are scanned at ther first firewall, so things should be safe.

However, many software firewalls provide other features to protect you from outgoing attacks and may be worth the use.

It won't harm your connection to use it on the second machine.
