filtering e-mail

Hi all

I was using an e-mail alias with a separate mailbox to sign up for various accounts and newsletters. I was getting loads of spam and decided to simply dump the mailbox. Now the spam comes in to my default mailbox. I was looking for a way to block all mail sent to the old address on the server side. Is it possible to do this or do I have to use a service like 0spam's?

PlusNet have setup a specific mailbox for this very purpose.

You can do the following for this.

Goto e-mail settings on the left
Configure mailboxes
Click "add redirect"

In box 1, enter the name of the mailbox you originaly setup.
In box 2, enter "blackhole@abuse.plus.com"
Submit these details.

This will forward the e-mail to a special account, which is simply dumped into nowhere.

Thanks Philip

Not exactly the solution I was hoping for, but I'll give it a go. Do you, or anybody else know if server side filtering is planned in the future?

Server side filtering is allready available, though at a premium.

See the "Services" link on the left.

£2.50 a month for a bunch of features I already have, apart from server side filtering. Oh well, I'll find some other way. Thanks again.
