email a domain name question

I have registered a domain name through plus.net
I was wondering, can I set up a email address under this domain, ie
info@mydomain.co.uk, as opposed to my normal postmaster@user.com
i cant seem to be be able to find teh option for this!

This is not possible with PlusNets mail system. Any mail received for someone@yourdomain.com will go into a mailbox called someone@username.plus.com. So fred@domain1.com and fred@domain2.co.uk will both automatically be put into fred@username.plus.com

You cannot have separate mailboxes for your domain.

The only way you can do this is to have you own SMTP mail server to which all email can be sent.

However, you can make this redirect characteristic transperent to the user... for instance, say you use Outlook, you can type in your domain address (e.g. mailbox@domain.co.uk) as your outgoing address, and that is the address people will see on your emails, rather than mailbox@username.plus.com.
