Wildcards in DNS 'A' records

Hi,

Is it possible to configure a DNS record that uses a wildcard so that "anything.mydomain" will point the same ip address?

eg:

Left__________Type________Right
*.mydomain.___A___________210.111.111.111

This is possible with normal DNS configuration, but plusnets configuration page won't allow the * character.

Thanks

This may well be possible if requested via the link:contact us system.

There are a few things support can do, that the public can't. Mainly because the webinterface does not allow it, or things can get too complex if provided.

Regardless, support will be able to give you a definate answer.

As far as I am aware, no this can't be done via Support either unless the ticket goes to networks for a second opinion.
