Webstats confusion

Webstats confusion

I am totally confused about my webstats. If I look at the account setup and the browser based analysis, I am receiving web stats for
(a) my username-defined webspace
(b) my domain name
(c) my CGI space

CGI is obvious - no problem there.

What I don't understand is why I have a different set of stats for username-webspace and domain name-webspace, given that the domain name simply points to the root of the username-webspace.

To make matters worse, the two sets of stats do not really reconcile to the log files that I receive in my /logs subdirectory - and there is only one file.

username-defined webspace is http://www.visualxpo.plus.com
domain name-defined webspace is http://www.astigmaticeye.co.uk
Same content because both URLs point to the same files.

Webstats for your username and domain are collected seperatly, because that is how they are addressed.

They may point to the same location, but the server thinks they are two different sites.

If you wish to reconcile those together, then you should parse the two fiels using your own webstats package yourself. Or marge the files together prior to parsing.

makes sense and is actually very useful. I am already downloading the raw logfiles but I am only aware of one set.

I suspect the daily logfiles in my /logs folder are for URL:username?

Where would I find the other set of logfiles (URL:domain name)?

You raise a contact us and state what domains you want raw logs to be created for.
