Web download manager.....query

I use Firefox and would like the ability to download, on a regular basis, the content of a number of selected web pages and in some cases, the content of the next layer of links.

Hopefully, the result being accessible from the browser's history for the particular day.

Does anyone know how I can do this? Is there a Firefox plug in, if so which is it?

Regards and thanks......Noel

Not sure about Firefox, though there may be an extension doing that (see the "find other extensions" option - or similar - using Netscape 7 this minute)...

There's certainly a utility called "WGET" for Linux (which might be available for Windows as well)...

I know it can drag portions of sites or whole sites and linked sites (with filters to specify which external sites to grab from/ignore). You'd need to do something a bit clever to keep the pulled pages separated by date, of course.

Hopefully there's a Firefox extension to solve it for you!

Many thanks, goodvalueisp.

I think that there is a Firefox extension for the job......Flashgot, however, I'm blessed if I can understand how to use it!

Posted a query on the Firefox Forum, but no assistance yet!

Thanks again.........
