OK guys i'm looking for some help, im no idiot when it comes to PC's but i can't solve this, i hope its not a Plusnet or Router problem.....

I can't view certain sites ebay and hotmail for two. I'm virus free and spyware free. Installed the latest version of Sygate yesterday but even when i disable it i still get the problem. Outlook express will not download messages from the Hotmail server eitehr but will from my main email client Plusnet. System restore did not help either

anyone got any ideas?

Others reported having problems accessing websites in th eUS overnight so tere may still be some issues outstanding with accessing it.

It is variable as I can access both of those services without any problems but I know others who have the same problem as you.

Have you rebooted your PC and if you have one, your router to see if that helps. Failing that try changing the DNS servers in windows to 212.159.6.9 & 212.159.6.10 and see if that helps. If not remove the setting again.

I'm getting the same problems, error codes etc with eBay and hotmail. I tried changing the DNS servers as suggested but the problems are still there.

Again, I am not a novice and haven't changed any settings.

I'd be grateful for suggestions / solutions please. Many thanks.

ETA: Problem resolved; I finally spotted the post advising to disconnect / reconnect. Cheesy

I found the following in "Announcements/Service Updates"
