VOIP Test numbers

I have not been able to track down any test numbers to try my PlusTalk VOIP setup, although I believe that they do exist. I have started a new topic on this subject even if this has already been addressed by someone else as despite searching the forums I have not found an answer - maybe this topic will help someone else in the future if I get a useful reply!

Free World Dial Up has an echo test number 613. The peer to peer number from plustalk is 393.
That is, you can test your connection by dialling **393613

Interesting '**393613' and '**867152' work fine but '7000' times out.
'7000' works fine with X-lite.

VOIP Test numbers

Yep, I get excellent and consistent results with....

Free World Dial **393613 and
Voipfone **867152

......but unreliable responses from 7000 and from attempts to dial a BT landline number.

I'm sure we can be certain that the fault is not in our settings or equipment.

I do feel that we are at least due an explanation from PlusNet.

Regards........Noel

I agree. I can't understand why they appear to ignore it. They are like the ostrich with their head in the sands.

As the above saying is a myth so are you inferring that PN customer support is a myth :?:

From the users point of view as regards 'PlusTalk', it certainly appears to be a myth. I am sure they must be working on it in some dark room somewhere but it's hard to understand why they don't set the 'Service Status' red and issue some sort of atatement.
