OKidoki, well I do not have any "interactive images" on the insert menu.

Also the help is not very informative about it.

There is insert form images bits & insert image - rollover image etc.

looking I have Macromedia Dreamweaver MX2004.

I guess I shall have to wait till I see the guy that showed me in the first place again.

Cheers.

While I'm being thick, how about popup windows?

I have a link that pops up a window, which works OK, but it also displays the window contents in the window that the original link was in.

How do I prevent that?
Also what do I do to a link to make it close the window?

(Yes I know, I'll have to get a book & read it).

Well I have insert / interactive images / rollover image, on my menu and have tried various settings but it is always there? You might be getting mixed up with Frontpage buttons. Dreamweaver doesn't offer those sort of naff one click options. Try front page if you are really struggling it much easier to pick up, but in the long run you will benifit alot more from mastering dreamweaver.

Anyhow here is the code you could paste in:

<img src="images/aaa.jpg" width="198" height="160"><a href="#" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image17','','images/02.jpg',1)"><img src="images/01.jpg" name="Image17" width="49" height="23" border="0">

Not sure what our pop-up problem is but try this: http://javascript.internet.com/generators/popup-window.html

or post a link to the page so I can see for myself.

Making a link to close the window is not as easy as it sounds. Do a search on google or google groups, you should find something. Don't be put off by java script's complex looking code, i use it all the time and have never written a line in my life. There are thousands of people giving away copy and paste stuff for free on the net. Just experiment.

Hi
Can you not close the popup via a set time in the code, try java script, lots of coding on there.

Yes Frontpage is a lot easier than Dreamweaver, have tried both, I'll stick with Frontpage :roll:
