This new firmware has appeared on the Speedtouch website. I installed it OK this morning but don't know what the changes are yet.

The upgrade wizard only seemed to work after I'd disabled windows firewall. I can't see any difference either. I was hoping it would allow me to add multiple SIP Registrar so that I could use plustalk for outgoing calls and sipgate for incoming regional code number.

Any way, I'll keep an eye on this page...

That's been there since the last firmware release.

R6.1 Release Notes

I got some release notes from Speedtouch on what's in 6.1 - its nothing very exciting.

I still can't get the firmware to take on my 716wl5. The upgrade wizard gets the firmware onto the router and then gives an error. Querying the router then reports it's requested kernel mode due to upload of invalid firmware. Anyone seen this?

No. My upgrade went without a hitch. However, the date now shows one month out on the configuration page - August instead of September. Although the log shows September.
